The Eta Nu chapter is open to all undergraduate and graduate students at Texas Woman’s University from any major.

National induction is a lifetime membership and includes a year’s subscription to The Historian, as well as eligibility to present at all regional and national Phi Alpha Theta conferences and to purchase honor cords for graduation.  Per the national organization, membership is open to all undergraduate students from any academic field who have

Fall 2008 national inductees.

  • completed at least twelve (12) hours of history
  • maintained a 3.1 GPA or better in all history courses
  • and maintained a 3.0 GPA or better overall.

Graduate students are eligible for induction when they have

  • completed at least twelve (12) graduate course hours in history
  • and maintained a 3.5 GPA or better in all history courses.

Faculty members who teach history are also encouraged to join!
