"A Time for Change: Barack Obama in African-American History"

In celebration of Black History Month, please join the Department of History & Government and the Office of Intercultural Services on Tuesday, February 17 at 2:30pm in CFO 203 for a special presentation, “A Time for Change: Barack Obama in African-American History.” 

Paul Dunbar, an instructor of African-American history in TWU’s Department of History & Government, will explore President Obama’s election in the context of African-American history.  Following the talk, a panel of students will discuss their impressions of the election’s historical and personal significance.  Refreshments served following the program.
